Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me leading wherever I choose.

Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune,
Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need
nothing,
Done with indoor complaints, libraries, querulous criticisms,
Strong and content I travel the open road.

"Song of the Open Road" - Walt Whitman

Since I was two weeks old, I have been traveling the world, and what a long, strange trip it's been! More than just the act of getting somewhere, it has become a process of learning and discovery. Learning about other people and their cultures, but more importantly, learning about myself, my capabilities and limitations. It has been said many times before, but travel is more about the inner journey than anything else. Over the last few years, I have been shooting photographs of some of the places I have visited. Check out some of my work.

All photographs are shot with my Nikon N 90, with 3 lenses (AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5D, AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6D, and AF Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D), and UV filter. My film of choice is Elite 2 Ektachrome made by Kodak. All photographs are scanned using Polaroid SprintScan 35 Plus. To ensure faster downloads, larger images are scanned at 1012 DPI. Most files are less than 30 K. All rights are reserved. Please contact me for more information.
