Nestled in a valley some 30 miles south of Ulaan Baatar, Zuunmod - the capital of Töv - is a laid-back city of about 17,000. The town itself is quite dreary, with scattered Soviet-style buildings in a seemingly random pattern, but it is a good stop on the way to see Manzshir Khiid Monastery, about 3 miles up the road.

I met these kids while biking up to the monastery, all eager to have their picture taken.
